The Dadisman Ghosts

The ghosts of the soldiers wandering the building are usually attributed to this in Dadisman:

WVU During World War II and Post-War Growth

"During the war, approximately 300 men of the 48th College Training Detachment lived, trained, and studied on WVU’s campus. Terrace Hall, now Dadisman Hall, was converted into a "mess hall" for these cadets. "

3rd Center Stalnaker Hall (Woman's Hall)

As we know Stalnaker is one of the oldest buildings on campus and with it comes a history. 3rd Center of (Woman's) Stalnaker Hall has an untold story I am searching out, explaining the wandering students.

The Tomb of Old Lady Stalnaker

On 1st North and 1st South of Stalnaker Hall there are two large islands with marble tops. On 1st South sometimes you can catch a glimpse of old lady Stalnaker late at night and so I must infer that is the side she is buried in.

A suicide in Dadisman

A few years ago (in 2005) there was a suicide in Dadisman Hall. There are many reports of the cause of death. Often there are references to a misplayed "Choking game" and to masturbation, but the cause of death is not that important. What is important is to watch for his ghost as you walk the halls of 2nd North Dadisman Hall.
